At South City C3, church is not just something we attend, it’s a people we belong to.
We are a Spirit-led, passionate, multicultural family of Jesus followers who long for the presence of God. We don’t gather out of routine, we gather to encounter Him. We believe church should feel like home: a place where you are known, loved, challenged, and strengthened.
We desire to be a house that is free to express our adoration to God, bold in our praise for Him, and hungry for a move of the Holy Spirit. Worship isn’t a segment of our service, it’s our response to who God is. We value the power of God’s Word, the presence of the Spirit, and the transforming work of Jesus in everyday life.
No matter your background, your questions, or your story so far, there is a place for you here. We share life together in the highs and the lows because we believe we are not just a community, we are family.

Welcome to our Kids Programs! We offer a safe and engaging space for under 5s in the cafe area and upstairs we have a space for our kids aged 5 -12.
Our incredible programs focus on growth and learning through Bible-based teachings, allowing your children to explore and understand godly values.Leave your kids with us and watch them thrive in a nurturing environment!

Welcome to our incredible parents' room, designed specifically for parents with children under 2. This warm and safe space is equipped with everything you need to care for your little ones while you enjoy the sermon and worship. Relax and connect with your child knowing you have all the essentials at your fingertips. We strive to create an environment that supports both parenting and spiritual growth.
Meet the Pastors
Meet Our Senior Pastors – Beau & Katie Lagatule

Beau and Katie are passionate local leaders who carry a deep love for God and for people. After 14 years of ministry in Melbourne, Australia, they responded to a clear call from God to return home to Christchurch, New Zealand, a step of faith that ultimately led them to becoming the senior pastors of South City C3 Church.
With over a decade of hands-on ministry experience each, Beau and Katie have served as youth pastors, assistant pastors, and Beau also has experience as a worship pastor. Their journey has been marked by wholehearted obedience, servant-hearted leadership, and a hunger for authentic moves of the Holy Spirit.
Together, they are raising their five children in the heart of the city they love, with a vision to see Christchurch run to God. Their desire is to see lives transformed, hope restored, and people to discover their true identity in Jesus Christ.
Their message is simple yet powerful: Jesus is alive, the Holy Spirit is moving, and the best is yet to come.
